Alcura HealthConnect

We’ll soon be launching a new portal – HealthConnect. Designed for our patients and healthcare professionals to access our services faster than ever before.

What is HealthConnect?

HealthConnect is a system designed to make interactions with Alcura faster, easier and more secure.

All our data will be stored in the cloud meaning we have enhanced security and the platform is more reliable, it also means that our patient and customer service teams can access your information at the click of a button, so when you need support from us it will be  more streamlined.

Not only will it speed up interactions with us, you can also access information yourselves:

For patients

As a patient you’ll be able to:

  • View your prescriptions and upcoming deliveries
  • Book your next medication delivery
  • Provide reports on your remaining medication levels
  • Arrange your clinical waste collection
  • Request travel letters to take medicines abroad

For healthcare professionals

As a healthcare professional, you can:

  • Register new patients
  • Upload prescriptions
  • See the status of prescriptions, deliveries and other data for their patients
  • View patient reported stock levels

FAQ

How do I access the HealthConnect portal?

You’ll be able to access HealthConnect via this website once it’s live. We’ll be phasing registrations to the portal across the weeks following launch.

  • Patients will need to register via a form on the website.
  • Healthcare professionals will be sent an invitation to create an account and set a password.

Will all patients be expected to use HealthConnect?

No, using our portal is the fastest way to access our services, so we’re hoping that most of our eligible patients will start to use it where appropriate. This depends on specific medication being available to book on the portal, as well as permission from their referring centre.

However, to make sure our services are accessible to all and to ensure our patients can always access the care they need, our Patient Services team can still be contacted by phoning 01604 433500 or +44 (0)800 980 0686

When will I find out more?

We’re launching the portal slowly, so will be in touch with more information over the coming weeks.
