COVID-19 Important Message to our Alcura patients

Due to  the on-going  situation  around Coronavirus (Covid-19) it  is important  for all  our Patients  to  continue to  take their regular medication as prescribed. Not  taking  medication may lead to increased symptoms or flare-ups of existing  conditions without  the appropriate medical  direction.

Alcura are dedicated  and committed to  ensuring  that  we deliver the best  service possible to  our  customers during  these challenging  times

What you may need to do

If you or someone in your household has coronavirus (COVID-19) symptoms, or  if you or your  household is self-isolating, you must tell us  when we call you to arrange your next delivery or nurse visit.  If you are using our Patient Self Booking system to arrange your delivery and have, or live with anyone who has symptoms or is self-isolating, please contact Alcura to advise us so we are able to support your delivery.  You can contact us by:

Opening hours

Monday to Friday - 8am until 6.30pm

Saturday - 9am to 1pm

Actions we are taking.

Alcura are  working  hard  to  maintain continuation  of supply  and normal  homecare medicine delivery.     For everyone’s safety, we continue to follow Government advice about social distancing and you will not be asked to sign for your delivery.  The delivery driver will not come into your home unless it has been pre-arranged and  is really necessary (e.g. if you are unable to physically carry a heavy parcel).

During  the call to arrange your next delivery or nurse visit, we will inform you of any changes to ensure your homecare service is  delivered to you and by us, safely.

During  this time our staff  are working hard to  maintain  delivery booking calls however we envisage there will  be an  increase in phone waiting  times therefore please only  make contact  in  urgent situations or to  update us of any  changes to   existing  delivery  schedules. Alternatively,  please email  patientservices@alcura-health.co.uk where all  queries will be read, prioritised and answered as quickly as possible.
